Model reviewed: 3.0-litre diesel automatic Landmark Score: 8 / 10 “It seems that with the advent of the new, posher Defender, the Land Rover Discovery makes more sense. . It is a bit late now that you do not have any drive, but the easiest way to test the torque convertor is to put in drive, put you foot hard on the brakes and try revving it up to around 2,000 rpm. If it starts to die/stall at 2,000 rpm, your torque convertor should be OK.

Suspension Fault. Our 08 LR3 has been throwing suspension faults lately. We had some suspension fault issues earlier this year that were resolved with installing a new left front wheel height sensor from British Atlantic. The compressor has been rebuilt and the system charges normally. I don’t loose any height when the truck sits overnight.
that was 12 months ago. Recently, ( in the last few months) the car reports Gear box fault after about 60 minutes of freeway driving, i stop the engine, wait 5 minutes and we are good to go. Land Rover here in Sydney cant get the gearbox to fault but feel it may be the Torque Converter may be faulty.

- C1a13 appears to be a fault of 'venting too slowly'(?) however when its working it will drop fast with the switch. I scan with iCarsoft but hopefully can trust the code. - I tried disconnected the pipe which flows towards the rear suspension air muffler, this hasn't appeared to change the fault throwing up.
If you have the Land Rover in-line servo installation - as used on the S3 - with the master cylinder and reservoir on the end - there is no pedal adjustment - the master cylinder simply bolts on the end of the servo and there is no pedal linkage adjustment. This uses an entirely different brake pedal box - the 'normal' one looks like the clutch
